Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our team, working across social housing sites in the Bristol and Bath areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to secure a temp-to-perm role with a reputable contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within occupied and void social housing properties.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and testing in compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
Complete reports and documentation accurately using the company's systems.
Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency callouts when required.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
ECS Card or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within social housing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK Driving License.
Desirable:
2391 or equivalent Testing and Inspection qualification.
Experience using maintenance management software.
Additional Information:
Working hours are typically Monday to Friday with overtime available.
Competitive call-out and overtime rates.
