We at RG Setsquare are hiring for the role of Plasterer (Temp)
Location: Yeovil
Pay Rate: 170P/Day
Role Overview:
RG Setsquare is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trades person to contribute to high-quality construction and refurbishment projects in a supportive, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth or decorative finish.
- Prepare surfaces for plastering, including removing old plaster and applying bonding agents.
- Mix plaster to the correct consistency using manual or mechanical methods.
- Repair damaged plaster work and match existing finishes where needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plasterer in residential, commercial, or refurbishment projects
- Excellent trowel and finishing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of various plastering techniques (e.g. skimming, float and set, dot and dab)
- Good physical fitness and ability to work on ladders or scaffolding if required
- CSCS card
