We are seeking a qualified Gold Card Electrician to carry out electrical repairs and maintenance in occupied domestic properties within the B11 area. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance work, ensuring safe and reliable electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Replace broken or damaged electrical accessories (e.g. sockets, switches)

Fault finding and electrical repairs

Replace electric showers

Carry out Insulation Resistance Testing (ITRs)

Repair or replace electric storage heaters

Maintain and repair communal lighting

Essential Requirements:

Gold ECS Card

Asbestos Awareness Certificate

Health and Safety Awareness - Site Safety Plus (Level 1)

Experience & Skills:

Proven experience in domestic electrical maintenance

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Ability to work independently in occupied homes

Good communication and customer service skills

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader & Grounds Operative to join our grounds maintenance team. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership capability combined with technical skills in horticulture.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a small team of grounds operatives ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Carry out a full range of horticultural and grounds maintenance duties including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, planting, and weed control.

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers).

Apply pesticides and herbicides in accordance with PA1/PA6 certifications.

Conduct daily site checks and complete relevant documentation as required.

Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times on-site.

Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members where necessary.

Liaise professionally with clients and represent the company positively at all times.

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence - essential (you will be required to drive company vehicles).

Relevant horticultural qualifications (Level 2 or above preferred).

PA1 & PA6 Spraying Certificates - essential.

Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience.

Ability to lead and motivate a team with strong communication skills.

Good understanding of health & safety in grounds maintenance operations.

Flexible and reliable with a positive and proactive approach to work.

Desirable:

Experience in commercial grounds maintenance contracts.

Additional machinery qualifications (e.g., chainsaw, ride-on mowers) beneficial.
