I am currently recruiting for an Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor based in Essex to join the existing team and work on a various projects within Commercial, Hotels & Residential sectors.

Key duties will be - assisting the commercial team on all surveying duties such as helping to put together trade packages together, assisting with tender returns, helping to put together CVR's, weekly forecasting. You will be working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be able to work from the office & site.

My client are looking to pay a competitive basic salary plus a benefits package plus travel and pension with the position looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period. The suitable candidate must have at least 18-24 months surveying experience.
