Are you an experienced construction professional ready to lead exciting new-build housing developments from the ground up? We are seeking a confident, driven Senior Site Manager to join a leading UK house builder with a reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable communities.
The Role:
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll take full ownership of a fast-paced residential site, managing day-to-day operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll lead a dedicated team and coordinate all trades, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth work flow and exceptional build quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site operations across all phases of construction
Manage health & safety compliance to the highest standards
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and labour resources
Liaise with technical, commercial, and sales teams
Drive quality control, programme targets, and customer satisfaction
Mentor junior staff and build a positive site culture
What We're Looking For:
Proven track record in residential site management (volume housebuilding essential)
SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certifications
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Passion for quality, safety, and delivering homes people are proud to live in
Ability to manage demanding build programmes and deliver results under pressure

My client , a well run Blue Chip Building Contractor, are looking for a Senior Site Manager to work on a 8 year NHS project The Senior Site Manager will be responsible the delivery of the project, must be an effective communicator and be able to successfully lead a small team. The desired Senior Site Manager must have the following:
Experience of running projects from £3 million -£10 million
Top Tier Contractor background.
A record of being client facing.
Project leadership qualities and exceptional soft skills.
Strong health and safety awareness and management.
Strong technical and financial acumen.
Controlling all aspects of H&S on site, your key responsibilities will include programming work schedule and monitoring building progress ensuring compliance with regulations and cost limitations. You will manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work. Your remit will also include logistics planning, plant and labour resources management as well as progress meetings with site team and subcontractors. You will ideally have some previous exposure to government funded construction projects.
Profile:
In order to be considered you must have a strong construction background and have previously worked for a quality contractor. You must be able to demonstrate a strong track record in having delivered high profile projects.
