Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support team members to ensure effective delivery of services. M25, one of their flagship projects! Together with their partners, they have combined to manage the 30 year, £6.2bn Design, Build, Finance, Operate (DBFO) contract for the M25 motorway and associated arterial routes surrounding London. The Infrastructure Asset Manager will sit within the asset investment team reporting to the Asset Investment Manager. This role will work closely with the rest of the partnered team and other key project stakeholders, to oversee all asset management activities for highways structures assets (i.e., (specified and strategic structures, Dartford Crossing and tunnels)
From a client-side perspective, this role will own asset management strategies for structure assets in line with handback and performance requirements, provide strategic guidance and support to the business enabling effective and consistent roll out & execution of asset management strategies, and continuously driving the asset management excellence to mature asset management approach.
The role is a unique opportunity to work within the Project Company of a major infrastructure project and directly interface with other senior stakeholders, parent company and a range of supply chain across the whole life cycle of highways linear assets.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The position of the Data Centre Engineering Manager is key to the technical operations of the building and its infrastructure.
As the post holder, you will be expected to have a detailed understanding of the installed building services systems, contingency procedures and be proactive in passing on this knowledge to other members of the Site Personnel. The Data Centre Engineering Manager will also be expected to become familiar with aspects of the administrative and engineering operations within the contract.
Key Tasks
Supervise, coordinate and manage the Supplier Site Personnel technical competences for all building plant and systems.Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective and efficient manner (including HV isolations/operations). Having due regard to business risk and energy use. Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required.Control all activities relating to the technical and efficient operation of the installed building systemsWorking closely with the engineering team you should ensure that for Specialist Sub Contractors visits have been prepared and approved Standard Operating Procedures/ MOP/PTW/change requests.Ensure that Specialist Sub Contractor worksheets are signed off where necessary, that quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated by the Site Personnel.Ensure the team and Sub Contractors comply with the contractual service level agreements (SLA's).
Personal Qualities
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Data Centre or Critical Environment operations.HV Authorised Person18th Edition amendment 2: Wiring and Installation, or willing to achieve.Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of Engineers.Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.Have good IT and report writing skills.Individuals who can demonstrate commitment and previous site experience; but not meet all the required technical qualifications may be considered subject to client approval.Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.Enthusiasm and demonstration of pro-activity, diligence and alertness, with the willingness to participate in appropriate training schemes.
