📍 Location: Southampton-based (travel within 50-mile radius)
💷 Pay: £21 CIS or £17 per hour PAYE + holiday (£36k+ salary when perm)
🕒 Hours:

Mon-Thurs: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Fri: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Additional pay for certain travel time and overtime

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work with a respected property maintenance contractor covering the Southampton area and surrounding region (within 50 miles). This is a long-term opportunity focused on high-quality refurbishment and maintenance works, primarily in the social housing sector.

Carry out both interior and exterior painting and decorating

Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming

Apply specialist finishes such as stains and varnishes

Use a range of tools including brushes, rollers, and spraying equipment

Work across both occupied and void residential properties

Proven experience in painting and decorating (ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance)

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Strong attention to detail and a professional work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to travel within the region

DBS check will be required

Competitive hourly rate

Paid overtime and certain travel time
