I am currently looking for a H&S Manager for a Main Contractor based in North London / Hertfordshire border who work in and around the London and the M25 area with a current turnover of circa £45 million. Projects include new build, refurbishment & fit out works within commercial, healthcare, education and residential on projects ranging between £2 to £10 million.

My Client requires a H&S Manager that will able to undertake the below -

Promote and ensure continued site wide commitment to achieving consistently high standards in Health and Safety on the project
* Advise site management & site staff on Health and Safety matters.
* Maintain the IMS to relevant ISO standards
* Conduct site Health & Safety compliance inspections and audits.
* Assist in the production, monitoring and review of method statements, risk assessments and work package plans
* Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root cause
* Review company and Sub-Contractors compliance paperwork.
* Assist in the preparation of Health & Safety packs.
* Assist in the preparation of Construction Phase plans.
* Regularly review and update the Project Construction Stage Health and Safety Plan.
* Regularly review and update the Project Fire Plan and Traffic Management Plan.
* Promote behavioural safety initiatives with operatives and staff
* Attend Client Health and Safety meetings/forums as required.
* Undertake weekly update to line management.

The candidate must be -

NEBOSH certificate Construction Health & SafetyMember of IOSH or equivalentMain contracting experienceMulti-sector experience (residential, industrial, commercial, education, healthcare)

The client is looking to pay up a competitive basic salary plus benefits package including car allowance, healthcare, pension, paid business travel and discretionary bonus

Pay Rate: Between £15.00-£20.00 per hour depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a busy and professional team based at Astral House in Watford. This is a full-time position offering thirty-seven and a half hours per week, Monday to Friday, from eight forty-five in the morning to five in the evening.

Key Responsibilities

Processing high-volume payroll in a dedicated payroll environment

Managing a large headcount with significant amounts of variable pay

Working with accuracy and speed to meet payroll deadlines

Ensuring compliance with internal and statutory payroll regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in an end-to-end payroll role

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Good numeracy and literacy skills

SAP payroll system experience is highly desirable

Experience working in a payroll-specific environment (not general finance or accounts)

This role is ideal for a candidate with solid payroll knowledge who is used to operating in a fast-paced environment. A background in managing payroll for large organisations will be a strong advantage.

Our client is one of the worlds leading data centre specialists who maintain data centres in the UK, Europe and World Wide. They now have an opportunity for a M&E Shift Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Responsibilities:

* Maintaining and keeping in good repair, the buildings mechanical & electrical systems along with all associated component parts of Data Centres.
* Routine tests, checks and record keeping for all the buildings systems
* Maintain water systems and all records to the highest standard in accordance with L8 Legislation.
* Undertake daily walk rounds of client areas and plant rooms to note and rectify any defects and to maintain Plant rooms in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
* Liaise and arrange sub contractor support and effectively manage and control all sub-contractors, including cleaning.
* To monitor the buildings environmental temperature, humidity, and space conditions and ensuring that they are maintained in accordance with the business requirement
* To monitor and adjust as deemed necessary, the building management systems (BMS) to control the buildings HVAC to optimal levels of efficiency.
* Provide rapid and effective response to customer and helpdesk calls and defects.
* Provide innovative solutions to improve building, plant and system energy efficiency.
* Manage, rectify and record defects through the Help Desk to ensure all are rectified within SLA timeframes.
* Keep the Shift Manager and Operations Manager briefed on all issues and progress.
* Raise hazard, incident and flash reports
* Use the Log Book System to store all records and certification for the site.
* Manage defects to completion; including full investigation, sourcing materials, provision of quotes, raising of Purchase Orders and arrangement of rectification.

* Ensure all Technical Activities are carried out to meet health and safety and client safety requirements.

Experience - Minimum 5 years experience in a critical environment managing FM services within a critical facility. I.e Data Centre/Bank/Research Environments/Hospitals/Broadcasting Television Centres
