Resourcing Group is working with FM Companies who are responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Subcontractor Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact for all engineering subcontractors working on site.Induction & Onboarding: Ensuring subcontractors are properly inducted, understand site rules, safety procedures, and specific work requirements.Work Planning & Scheduling: Collaborating with the site team and subcontractors to plan and schedule work activities, minimising disruption to site operations.Permit to Work Management: Overseeing the permit to work process for subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with site procedures.Technical Oversight (Electrical Bias): Utilising your electrical knowledge to understand subcontractor proposals, risk assessments, and method statements, ensuring technical accuracy and safety.Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of subcontractor work, ensuring it meets required standards and specifications.Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking subcontractor progress, identifying potential delays or issues, and reporting to the site management team.Communication & Collaboration: Maintaining clear and effective communication with subcontractors, the internal team, and client representatives.Issue Resolution: Acting as a first point of contact for any issues or queries arising from subcontractor activities, facilitating timely resolution.Compliance & Safety: Ensuring subcontractors adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as site-specific GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) where applicable.About You:
Essential:
Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation) or equivalent.
Proven experience in a technical role within an engineering environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Proficient in using IT systems and software for communication and record-keeping
Desirable:
Experience in a subcontractor management or coordination role.
Knowledge of permit to work systems and procedures.
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or other regulated environments.
NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.

Main Duties
The delivery of planned and reactive work relating to local exhaust ventilation on site. Work will include but not be limited to: Biological Safety Cabinets, Fume Cupboard, Ventilated Enclosure, On-tool extraction
Experience in a related industry, Perform DOP testing on all variates of equipment including Calibration, Repairs & surveys of LEV devices consisting mainly of Class 2 Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC), AFOS ventilated tables, Protex ventilated workstations, fume cupboards, downflow booths and isolators, KI Discus together with some miscellaneous LEV devices
Demonstrate good understanding of current standards and testing methods related to LEV systems, Safety Cabinets, Fume Cupboards, Ventilated Enclosures and other systems on site.
What we are looking for
Experience:
3+ years in an LEV position
Understand and be able to describe the principles and the main elements of a LEV system.
Familiarity with the diverse range of assets attributed with LEV systems on site as well as connected main systems
Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and testing of LEV systems
