Our client is a well-established and busy main contractor with an exciting pipeline of high-profile building projects across Scotland. With a strong reputation in delivering complex projects in sectors including steel frame, industrial units, retail, leisure, office, and distilleries, they are now seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join their team.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be a key figure on site, leading teams and liaising with clients and subcontractors to drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

Lead procurement and timely appointment of subcontractors.Maintain accurate site records and identify commercial opportunities.Take ownership of and update the construction programme.Produce clear and concise client progress reports.Ensure all site personnel are adequately trained and supported.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Lead project review and coordination meetings.Uphold and monitor quality standards across the project lifecycle.Manage project handovers and ensure smooth client sign-off.

Requirements

Degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline or from a strong trade background.Proven experience in managing construction projects from inception through to completion.Strong background in main contracting.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Experience in steel frame/industrial unit construction essential.

They have an impressive portfolio of projects between £1m-£50m in value.

As Project Manager, you will manage projects and sites, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for:

Lead the procurement of subcontractors and ensure that they are appointed on time.Ensure that site records are produced and maintained accurately and that commercial opportunities are identified.Take ownership for the construction programme and ensure that it is accurately maintained.Produce client progress reports.Ensure everyone on site is sufficiently trained and identify any areas of development.Create and maintain strong working relationships with clients.Lead project review meetings.Ensure specified quality standards are understood and achieved.Organise construction phase sign off and handoff with client.

Qualifications & Skills:
