Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a Construction contractor who specialise in New build, industrial, refurbishment and commercial projects they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on projects across the M62 corridor. They are looking for someone who can manage smaller construction projects ranging from £100000 to £7m. Working alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager you will be an integral part of the commercial team.

The ideal individual will have experience of working within the industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors.

Roles, responsibilities and qualifications:

Managing bills of quantities ensuring projects are kept within budgetreporting to Senior commercial teamworking closely with design and project teams - additionally working with the client's and key stakeholders. Working with supply chain to provide accurate tendersCVR's Cost managementsub contractor paymentsprocuring Sub contractor packages Review of supply chain tender returnsPreparation of budget costingsProviding sales and estimating documentationWorking directly with the clientsInternal QA handover packs, subsequent to contract awardsAttendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awardsWorking autonomously on construction projects Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveyingMain contracting experience - desirable Excellent communication and organisational skillsDriving licence
