About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our on-site team. This is a critical role on a large, complex, and technically demanding site, offering the right candidate clear progression into senior leadership - including a pathway to Hard Services Manager.
This is a fully site-based, hands-on supervisory position requiring strong facilities management (FM) knowledge and the ability to lead and support a technical team in delivering a safe, compliant, and high-performing service.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the on-site electrical team
* Deliver PPM, CM, and reactive maintenance within SLA timeframes
* Act as a technical point of contact for all electrical services on site
* Lead shift planning, team handovers, toolbox talks, and H&S briefings
* Act as an Authorised Person for permit-to-work systems
* Ensure compliance with company and client safety procedures and documentation
* Liaise with other service lines to provide an integrated FM solution
* Support Hard Services Supervisor with audits, assessments, and training
* Monitor and manage subcontractor performance and site standards
* Assist with budget control on tools, PPE, and consumables
* Represent the FM team professionally in client meetings and site communications
Requirements
* Fully qualified electrician with:
o 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
o City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing
o NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* Proven experience in a supervisory/lead electrical role within FM or building services
* Strong knowledge of complex and critical infrastructure environments
* Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with safe systems of work, permit control, and contractor management
* Proficient in MS Office and digital job management systems
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Able to work permanently on-site (local to Chester preferred)
