Job Title: Electrician
Location: Central Belt of Scotland (Mobile Role)
Salary: £37,332 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch). Overtime and on-call required (on average, 1 in 6 weeks).
Looking for an Electrician to join mange social housing in the Central Belt of Scotland.
You will play a crucial part in ensuring all electrical systems and plant are maintained to the highest standards, completing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities include carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), completing real-time documentation using the PDA, managing plant faults and breakdowns, and ensuring safety compliance through risk assessments.
A multi-skilled background is ideal, and experience in fault finding, electrical installations, and BMS operation is essential. This role requires a recognised industry qualification, and candidates should have experience working in domestic maintenance role.
Must have a full clean driver's license and be available to participate in the on-call rota. A DBS Standard check is also required for this role.
Key Qualifications/Experience:
Industry qualification Lvl 3 (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).18th Edition essential.Experience in a similar role.Full clean driving license.Ability to pass a DBS Standard check.Multi-skilled with fault-finding expertise.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.The role includes overtime and on-call duties with an average of 1 in 6 weeks.

We are working on behalf of one of Scotland's largest and most respected privately owned civil engineering contractors. With a legacy of delivering major infrastructure projects across the country, our client is renowned for its commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in the civil engineering sector. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of complex, high-value projects.
Role OverviewAs a Sub Agent, you will play a critical role in managing on-site operations and ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of infrastructure works. Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager, you'll help oversee project planning, technical compliance, and site coordination across major civil engineering schemes, such as roads, bridges, marine works, and energy infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead site teams in daily construction operations, ensuring high standards of HSEQ compliance.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
Produce and review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
Interpret technical drawings and specifications; ensure all work is delivered in line with design and contract requirements.
Contribute to short-term programming and resource planning.
Assist with commercial reporting, cost tracking, and material procurement.
Support quality assurance and audit processes on-site.
Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceHNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years' experience in civil engineering, ideally on large infrastructure or heavy civils projects.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and site practices.
Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or above), and First Aid certification.
NEC contract experience advantageous.
Full UK driving licence.
