Asbestos Surveyor - West Yorkshire

Resourcing Group are working in partnership with a leading Social Housing organisation who are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join their Compliance team. You will play an important role in ensuring that legislative requirements are met when managing existing asbestos in their asset portfolio.

Your new role as Asbestos Surveyor:

As the Asbestos Surveyor you will produce asbestos reports, advise a variety of stakeholders, carry out technical reviews of outgoing reports, support planning and the delivery of investment works. You will also maintain a list of approved asbestos removal contracts and oversee and maintain the asbestos register.

The Experience Required:

Experience working in a Social Housing organisation, building surveys and bulk sampling for asbestos, and good IT skills.

Resourcing Group are working in partnership with a leading Social Housing organisation who are looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their Asset Management team. You will play a pivotal role in gathering and validating data concerning assets through stock condition surveys.

Your new role as Stock Condition Surveyor:

As the Stock Condition Surveyor you will conduct detailed surveys and assessments of social housing properties, identifying defects and potential hazards, and assessing the remaining lifespan of key components. You will also be involved in compliance assessments and stock adaptations as and when required.

The Experience Required:

Experience working in a Social Housing organisation, undertaking stock condition and compliance. Possess good technical ability and be able to provide technical advice on a wide range of maintenance and repair issues.

You will also work directly with tenants to explain repair decisions and timeframes and use housing management systems to log findings, raise work orders and update cases.

Your new role as Compliance Fire Officer:

As the Compliance Fire Officer you will delivery a high-quality, cost effective, customer focused service that keeps customers and partners safe in relation to facilities and estates, to meet the Homes Statutory and policy obligations. Managing and delivering compliance programmes, including cyclical checks of fire detection and warning systems, emergency lighting, smoke vents, firefighting equipment, to the highest possible standard and providing high quality support and advice for the team and wider organisation. You will manage and be accountable for the planning, organising and delivery of the Fire Risk Assessment program, manage and be accountable for the planning, organising and delivery of Fire Action as a result of the Fire Risk Assessments.


The Experience & Qualifications Required:

You will possess a strong record in service delivery of compliance and fire safety, qualification in relation to fire safety, good knowledge of compliance and fire safety services and the ability to interpret, analyse and produce relevant management information.
