RG Setsquare are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join a well established grounds maintenance contractor. You will play a key role in maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard.
As part of the team, you'll be responsible for the upkeep of commercial and residential sites - ensuring they remain clean, safe, and visually appealing.
The Role will be working on a Permanent basis
Hours of work are 6:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate £13-13.19ph PAYE
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, and general horticultural tasks
Operate and maintain machinery and tools (e.g. mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers)
Perform general grounds duties including litter picking, leaf clearing, and weed control
Ensure safe working practices in line with company health & safety procedures
Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public or clients on-site
About You:
Minimum 3 years previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture preferred
Able to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely and effectively
Good level of physical fitness - the role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors in all weather
A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Full UK driving licence (essential)
PA1/PA6 pesticide certification (desirable but not essential)
