The Role:
They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of high-end fit-out projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all day-to-day site activities, including supervising subcontractors and direct labourEnsure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policiesLead site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliersMonitor programme schedules, progress, and resourcesManage site logistics, deliveries, and material controlMaintain accurate site records, reports, and documentationEnsure a high standard of workmanship and client satisfaction

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in fit-out retail or hotel sectorsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret drawings and specificationsExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilitiesSMSTS, CSCS (Manager) card, and First Aid certification essentialFull UK driving licence

Job Title: Site Manager - M&E Fit-Out
Location: Berkshire
Employment Type: Contract
Salary: £300-£350 per day
Start Date: 2nd June 2025

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E fit-out works on high-spec projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating M&E subcontractors, and ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day site activities for M&E Fit out
* Oversee and coordinate all subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, program, and safety standards.
* Monitor and report progress against the construction programme.
* Ensure site works are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
* Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure risk assessments/method statements (RAMS) are followed.
* Maintain daily site records including progress updates, site diaries, and snagging reports.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure smooth communication and efficient project delivery.
* Conduct quality inspections and sign-off on completed works.
* Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar Site Manager role within M&E fit-out projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
* SMSTS and First Aid certifications are essential (CSCS not essential)
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices and compliance.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple subcontractors and deadlines.
